Why females want to show their body? How to stop daughter to wear such clothes?

Recently my wife purchased an issue of “WOMEN’s ERA” magazine. I could not understand a female magazine has to show half naked picture of a lady on its cover page to sell it..... Is it that the target readers of WOMEN's ERA magazine as name suggests are WOMEN or now that is changed to MEN?
We could not even keep it on drawing room teepoy with its front cover upside. We had to keep under another magazine. Even while going in train we had kept it with back cover on top view.
Why the so called female activist do not protest on such media, which are projecting women in this way. Many advertisement or TV show generally use woman body to promote their products or services. Is it this attitude acceptable to Indian woman?


I am yet to understand why females now compete to show their body maximum day by day in the name of fashion or glamour or in thing.


Today many parents have very difficult time to allow their daughters to wear low waist jeans and spaghetti or sleeve less top showing belly button and cleavage and panty and bra. To show Bra strap has become fashion now. Even PLASTICS strap which are not good for skin and health are being easily accepted by teenage and young daughters. White cotton bra and straps are not so liked by them, which are good for skin. Even tight innerwears and jeans obstruct the blood circulation when you wear for longer time. Bra selection is another issue parents should discuss with daughter. Fancy and colorful may be avoided to protect skin. It has become now fashion to show the innerwears to public.


Saying NO to such fashion to the own daughter creates HUNGAMA in family. Daughters are not ready to understand that why they should not show their skin to public eyes. The personality of daughter has become so cheap that to get attraction and attention of boys and others they are now in competition to show more and more of flash. Knowlegdge, Education and Communication skills have taken backstage..


There is a need on parents, teachers and society to impart moral values education to our sons and daughters. Parents will also have to understand this new generation demand on such issues. Because it is a fashion and other girls are wearing, why should I not wear? will have to be answered. It will require a true friendship between parents and their sons / daughters.
